Pivot Edutainment headed by Mr. Josh Ramos proudly brings you the “CLIMATE CHANGE LITERACY CAMPAIGN”. A Nationwide Campaign that aims
to address the issue of Climate Change . In support of the Republic Act (R.A.)
No. 9729 otherwise known as the Climate Change Act of 2009. Climate Change is
the most serious and most pervasive threat facing humanity today.
The following are objective of the "Climate Change Campaign"
-Self awareness of the people’s own possible contribution to this situation particularly Global warming and Climate Change.
-Increase Climate Change Literacy among Filipino Youths
-Inspire and enable involvement of the young Filipinos in understanding, mitigating and adapting process in addressing this phenomenon.
-Educate the Filipino Youth to contribute to the preservation of our Mother Earth
-To implement a fun, innovative and life changing learning experience that will develop critical thinking.
The Learning Program brings the
following:
ACTIVITY 1: CLIMATE CHANGE: What future are we
facing? (30 Minutes)
This
show highly entertains and educates the viewers with an easy-to-understand
story about the changing climate in the planet earth. Through the impressive
impact of this this full DIGITAL DOME
THEATER, the viewer will experience a spectacular environment as it
recreates landscapes and virtual scenes. From the examination of meteorological
phenomenon to the exploration of large natural spaces as well as weather
conditions, this full DIGITAL DOME
THEATER provides a memorable and fun way to learn about this pressing issue
ACTIVITY 2: 3D FILM SHOWING (30 Minutes)
This activity features the
use of the advanced technologies of the 21st century-The 3D FILM SHOWING SYSTEM. We are offering
two kinds of film that the school can choose from:
FOREST HERO:CONI, An animated film, designed for audience about the harmful effects of Climate Change and Global Warming to the environment as well as to living creatures.

UNDER THE
SEA 3D, A
film that features the mysterious and exotic beauty of our marine ecosystems.
It provides a visually stunning footage as we educate them about the damaging
effects of Climate Change in the ocean, particularly the phenomenon of Coral
Bleaching and Ocean Acidification
ACTIVITY 3: INTERACTIVE EXHIBIT ON RENEWABLE
RESOURCES (30 Minutes)
This activity features a
vivid display of some of the leading examples of alternative renewable energy
resources, such as SOLAR PANEL, WIND
TURBINE, and PEDAL POWERED GENERATOR.
This activity demonstrate the mechanics of generating green energy. Also, this
activity aims to make students understand that even in the realm of alternative
energy, there is no single solution but cautious crafted combination of
different approaches.
The whole event runs for
approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes simultaneously, so as not to disrupt the
on-going classes of the students and teachers.
